Thick and sluggish or thin and dynamic? These properties come to light in paints and coatings and also, for example, in building material products such as plaster and adhesives. At first, the difference is hardly noticeable. But when these products are used - for example, when painting or plastering walls - the different characters of flowable materials become apparent.
Rheology additives play an important role with regard to the application properties and storage stability of numerous flowable systems. Around 40 employees work on the production of these additives at our site in Moosburg.

Such rheological additives help, among other things, to adapt construction chemical products precisely to customer and market needs. Thus, the ceiling paint sticks to the ceiling and does not drip onto the face of the painter during application.
