BYK in Moosburg - everything flows

Thick and sluggish or thin and dynamic? These properties come to light in paints and coatings, and also, for example, in building material products such as plaster and adhesives. At first, the difference is hardly noticeable. But when these products are used - for example, when painting or plastering walls - the different characters of flowable materials become apparent.

Rheological additives play a key role in determining application properties and shelf stability. Among other things, rheological additives help tailor construction chemical products precisely to customer and market needs. Thus, the ceiling paint sticks to the ceiling and does not drip onto the face of the painter during application.

At our Moosburg site in Bavaria, BYK develops and produces a variety of rheological additives, such as hydroclays for water-based products. Around 50 employees work at our Moosburg site.
